Electrical Safety Inspection

It is becoming common for insurance companies to require an electrical safety inspection for older homes and buildings. Some issues are older types of wiring (knob & tube wiring and aluminum wiring), fuse panels, aging and obsolete breaker panels, and added wiring not to code. They will need to see these items corrected before they  will bind coverage.  Additional improvements  are also recommended, including 120 volt smoke/CO detectors.
